Boy, Do my feet stink!!
Stinky feet can be the most embarrassing body smell. Moisture and dark places are the ideal breeding grounds for bacteria and fungus to grow. Our feet are stuffed in sweaty socks and shoes for hours; this can lead to “Stinky Feet”. You can get infected with athlete’s foot in public showers, locker rooms, gyms, or sharing sandals.
Athlete’s foot causes itching, flaking, and scaling of skin. It gives you that dreaded itching and burning in between your toes, and at times cause fluid filled tiny bubbles on your skin.
Some tips to keep your feet stink free:
- Clean and dry your feet after a shower, especially in-between the toes.
- Wash your feet twice a day with soap and water.
- Change your socks daily.
- Let your work shoes dry out in the sun.
- Change your shoes as needed. Work boots can take more than one day to dry out.
Fungal infections can quickly spread to other parts of the foot and toenails.
